Danny Tarkenton is a Spokane native, U.S. Army National Guard veteran who deployed to Iraq, and a Gonzaga Law graduate running for Spokane County Prosecutor as an independent. She studied philosophy and psychology, served as a Deputy Prosecutor in Spokane County, and is pursuing a master's in forensic psychology. She is driven by understanding why people harm one another and how to resolve that harm — keeping the community safe by breaking cycles of crime rather than simply continuing them.
